Dr. Peter Saba, Director of aivancity Paris

Biography

Peter Saba became director of aivancity Paris on September 16, 2026. As an information systems specialist, his areas of expertise include human-centered artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and sustainable development. His career has spanned academic leadership, consulting, and executive coaching.

Before joining aivancity, Peter Saba held several executive positions at De Vinci Higher Education. In particular, he headed the Management, Strategy, and Innovation Department at EMLV Business School. He also served as an associate professor of information systems, program director, and co-director of the research track focused on complex systems, risk, data science, and digital transformation at the De Vinci Research Center.

Peter Saba has taught information systems management, information technology strategy, and data analysis applied to management, notably at EDHEC Business School. He has also taught in DBA, MBA, and MSc programs and has led training sessions for senior executives on innovation and transformation.

His corporate experience includes roles as a senior consultant and research director at In Extenso Innovation Croissance, a division of Deloitte France. In these roles, he advised organizations on their innovation strategies, technology roadmaps, and research and development investments. As a partner at Innocraft and HHAS, he has advised executives in France and Switzerland on innovation governance, portfolio management, and financing.

His research focuses on human-centered artificial intelligence and augmented intelligence, organizational change, and digital sustainability, with a particular emphasis on the practical implications of emerging technologies for management. He has published several articles in *Information Systems Frontiers*, *Revue Française de Gestion*, *Systèmes d’Information et Management*, *Technological Forecasting and Social Change*, *Communications of the Association for Information Systems*, and *Information Technology & People*. He is also the author of book chapters and professional articles published in publications such as Harvard Business Review France and Forbes France.

Peter Saba has served as coordinating editor for *Communications of the Association for Information Systems* and as guest editor for the *Journal of Decision Systems* and the *Journal of Asia Business Studies*. He is also an affiliated researcher at Larequoi at Paris-Saclay University and participates in doctoral supervision.

He holds a qualification to supervise research in information systems from Paris-Saclay University and a Ph.D. in information systems from the University of Montpellier. He also holds a certificate in business and geopolitics from HEC Paris and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Saint-Esprit University in Kaslik, Lebanon.
