Why Now?
AI isn't just making its way into finance departments—it's already there. And it's primarily affecting the areas that have historically provided employees with their first professional experiences: production, analysis, auditing, reporting, forecasting, and data processing.
This trend is already beginning to change access to careers in finance. Hiring of entry-level candidates is slowing in several roles, as the tasks traditionally assigned to newcomers are precisely the ones that AI and automation are taking over first.
In the United States, job postings for entry-level positions in accounting and finance have declined by about 30% since 2019, while several industry analyses estimate that 40 to 50% of accounting tasks could be automated or significantly enhanced by AI.
Generative AI is already capable of analyzing, synthesizing, explaining, and generating. AI agents go a step further: they can search for information, interact with systems, trigger actions, monitor results, and chain together multiple tasks within a single process.
A professional's value will no longer lie solely in their ability to produce information, but increasingly in their ability to:
AI automates some of the work. It enhances the value of what remains profoundly human. Financial professions aren't disappearing—their focus is shifting.
What the Numbers Say
Finance departments are already using AI. Adoption has risen from 37% in 2023 to 59% in 2025. Among the most common uses are knowledge management, accounts payable automation, and error and anomaly detection.
Gartner, AI in Finance Survey 2025
Finance and accounting professionals believe that generative AI and AI agents could become standard tools in their field within the next five years.
Deloitte, Center for Controllership, 2025
Some employers plan to reduce their workforce in areas where AI will automate certain tasks. The WEF already lists accountants and auditors among the professions expected to see a decline in employment by 2030.
World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Report 2025
Skills currently used in various professions are expected to be transformed or become obsolete by 2030. At the same time, AI and data are at the top of the list of skills for which demand will grow the fastest.

It's not just the tool that's changing. It's the value expected of the professional.
The Promise of the MSc
The MSc in AI & Data for Finance & Accounting is designed for graduates with a five-year degree who have already received training in the fields of finance, accounting, auditing, and management accounting. The program’s goal is not to retrain students in finance, but to equip them with a second set of skills that has become essential: expertise in AI and data.
The program does not aim to turn finance professionals into IT development specialists. Instead, it equips them with the ability to understand, use, build, and manage AI and data solutions within their own professional environments.
Finance+Data+AI
Three skills that are now inseparable when it comes to contributing to the transformation of the finance function.
A Double Recognition
This certification attests to expertise in data, artificial intelligence, the development of AI solutions, the application of results, and the management of AI projects—all applied here to address challenges in finance, accounting, auditing, and internal control.
Six Abilities + Discernment
What graduates will be able to do upon completion of the program, ranging from technical fundamentals to the transformation of the role.
Understand the technology well enough to be able to work with it.
The goal is not to become an AI engineer, but to acquire the level of expertise needed to select, use, evaluate, and manage these technologies.
Harnessing AI and Data to Support the Financial Industry.
Identify tasks that can be streamlined, enhanced, automated, or redesigned using new technologies.
Moving from using AI to creating solutions.
Design and prototype solutions capable of responding, analyzing, monitoring, making decisions within a defined framework, and taking action on the company's systems.
Making AI a tool you can trust.
Assess risks, protect data, define controls, and ensure that AI systems remain traceable, auditable, and under human oversight.
Turning an AI idea into a value-creating project.
Knowing how to decide where to invest in AI, how to manage the project, and how to measure the value actually created.
Rethinking the Finance Function for a World Where Humans and Agents Collaborate.
Stop simply asking, “How can we use AI in this process?” and instead rethink the process itself.
Discern
When AI can generate an answer, the focus shifts to the quality of the question and the decision.
Mastering technology without surrendering one's judgment.
