Cooperation agreement signed with IIIT-Bangalore

On the occasion of the visit of Valérie Pécresse, President of the Ile-de-France Region, to India from January 4 to 11, 2024, aivancity Paris-Cachan, IIIT-B, the Ile-de-France Region and Choose Paris Region signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) on January 10 in Bangalore.

After concluding 23 representation agreements, developing 2 Joint Programs with Upgrad and Vijaybhoomi University, signing 10 agreements with leading Indian universities, and welcoming 20 students for the start of the 2023/2024 academic year, aivancity has signed an agreement with IIIT-B, a research and educational institution focusing on computer science and information technology in India. It is one of the most prestigious institutes in the field, located in Bangalore, India's leading city for new technologies.

This agreement includes:

• The development by Aivancity students as part of the AI clinic, of a digital application based on the Indian open source protocol Beckn[1] to enhance the experience of tourists in the Île-de-France region in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
• The establishment of an annual reciprocal student exchange program as part of study stays at one or other of the higher education establishments. The creation of an "AI and Ethics" course in the Ile-de-France region for IIITB students.
• The organization of visits to companies or sites in Ile-de-France linked to the projects, and the presentation of the AI ecosystem in Ile-de-France.
