aivancity in Silicon Valley
Our 4th year students have the opportunity to take a Learning Trip to Silicon Valley, the beating heart of emerging technologies and startups.
This year, our students met some of the biggest : Meta, Microsoft, Valeo, Vectice, the French American Chamber of Commerce, Ocean One, Autodesk, Capgemini, SBB CFF FFS.
aivancity offers a rich week-long program at the heart of tech for a remarkable design experience, facilitating encounters and accelerating professional development thanks to workshops, hackathons and conferences for our students.
Leading names unveil their latest experiments and insights into artificial intelligence and data.
How can I describe this extraordinary experience for a student of AI and data? Among the innovative discoveries, my attention was particularly focused on the underwater humanoid robot project, Ocean One."
Ilyes, MSC Data Management student
The Stanford Robotics Group
Our students were able to follow the Ocean One program at the Stanford Robotics Group, a research center working on the creation of robots with the ability to operate and communicate with humans in unpredictable environments. At the same time, the laboratory is developing robots that are inspired as much as possible by human mobility.
The underwater archaeologist of tomorrow
This humanoid robot is designed to explore extreme depths in places where it would be impossible for a diver to venture.
Ocean One offers infinite opportunities for underwater exploration and research. With its high level of precision, this robot is an invaluable tool for scientists, engineers and divers alike.
Real-world applications
Manipulating Ocean One enabled students to work on real-world projects with specific applications, giving them hands-on experience of the impact of AI on the real world. All in all, handling this robot is a stimulating and enriching experience for our students.
Every year, the Learning Trip to Silicon Valley is designed as a total immersion in the heart of AI and data.
