Concrete Actions Around AI and Data
aivancity and the Île-de-France Region deepen their cooperation to promote concrete initiatives in Artificial Intelligence and Data across initial education, continuing education, and research.
During the press conference on the implementation of the "Demonstrator: AI for Regional Public Services" program on March 8, 2024, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Region, joined by Alexandra Dublanche, Vice President in charge of economic recovery, attractiveness, economic development, and innovation, and Christel Royer, Vice President in charge of general administration and digital transformation, signed a partnership agreement with Tawhid Chtioui, President of aivancity.
This agreement includes:
- Training provided by aivancity for staff and elected officials of the Île-de-France Regional Council on the opportunities offered by AI and data.
- Development of joint international cooperation initiatives in the fields of AI and data.
- Training or informational sessions conducted by aivancity on future professions for public and private high schools in the region.
The agreement also stipulates that aivancity students will work within the "AI Clinic" to develop an intelligent assistant aimed at improving interactions between the regional administration and high schools.
During the press conference, after showcasing solutions from several startups designed to strengthen the connection between Île-de-France residents and the regional administration, the president unveiled major upcoming projects and new use cases that the Region aims to develop in Phase 2 of the "AI Demonstrator" program. These projects will focus on topics such as career guidance and education in high schools.
