Aivancity Citizen Engagement Program in Partnership with Impact Campus

This program, developed as part of aivancity’s societal mission, is designed to create a pathway that shapes engaged citizens ready to address the ecological and social challenges of the 21st century. Starting in the 2024 academic year, students from the 2nd to the 5th year will commit to at least 30 hours of volunteer work within organizations of public interest. They will have until May 2025 to complete their commitment. To facilitate participation, Impact Campus has curated a wide range of associations in the Paris region, where aivancity is notably established. Students will have the option to choose a mission defined by Impact Campus or propose their own citizen engagement project.

This partnership enables students to engage in volunteer missions serving the community, aligning with aivancity’s values of social and environmental responsibility. Over 200 students will participate in this inaugural edition in 2024.

A Program Focused on Impact

Aivancity aims to educate students who are both technically skilled and socially aware. Inspired by the urgency of ecological issues and the growing desire for youth engagement, this program, developed in collaboration with Impact Campus, places students at the center of the action.

• Responsibility: : Encourage students to understand and act on current social and environmental challenges. The program doubles the time dedicated to these issues, allowing each student to reflect on the impacts of their decisions in a rapidly changing world.
• Ethics: Motivate students to actively engage in causes of public interest. Through their missions, they are required to participate in hands-on activities, directly interacting with beneficiaries. Whether in education, the environment, or solidarity, this immersion is designed to transform theory into practical experience.
• Employability: Enhance soft skills and strengthen their professional stance through field experiences. The program aims to produce well-rounded professionals. These practical immersions will help students better understand the realities of the sectors they might work in while equipping them with the skills necessary to face the complexities of the professional world.
• Local Anchoring: Strengthen ties between aivancity and local stakeholders. In collaboration with Impact Campus, students will have the opportunity to engage with local organizations of public interest, directly addressing societal issues in their area. The goal is to move from global thinking to local action, enabling students to see the direct impact of their contributions in their communities.
