The Learning Trip

Understanding India's Technology Ecosystem
from the Inside

An academic cooperation program that combines coursework, research in artificial intelligence, and immersion in one of the world’s most dynamic deep tech ecosystems, in partnership with a leading Indian university.

Every year, aivancity organizes this Learning Trip in partnership withthe International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B), as part of the MSc in Data Engineering & Artificial Intelligence program.

Unlike a typical study tour, this program includes modules taught by IIIT-B researchers: computer vision, natural language processing, generative and agent-based AI, fast algorithms, and geospatial AI, interspersed with a mini-datathon that is evaluated and concludes with a certificate ceremony.

In addition, the program includes visits to deep tech companies, an exploration of India’s public digital infrastructure —such as MOSIP and Beckn—and a cultural immersion experience in Bangalore and Mysuru. All of this is presented in a format that combines academic rigor with an international perspective.
