His current research focuses on the symbolic fusion of data, the literary aspects of the digital humanities, computational philosophy, and the ethics of information and communication technologies

He is chair of the steering committee of the CHEC (Cycle des Hautes Études de la Culture) and a member of the steering committee on digital ethics of the CCNE (National Consultative Ethics Committee).
