This cooperation is part of the “Digital Côte d’Ivoire 2030” vision and aims to support Côte d’Ivoire’s strategy for digital transformation and the development of artificial intelligence.

Training, Certifying, and Supporting Digital Transformation

Through this agreement, aivancity and the Ivorian government intend to develop joint initiatives focused on several strategic priorities: training young people in careers in artificial intelligence, data science, and digital technology; strengthening the skills of professionals, managers, executives, and public officials; and developing innovative academic programs and international certifications.

The cooperation will also focus on applied research and innovation, supporting digital transformation projects in public and private organizations, and promoting responsible and ethical artificial intelligence that contributes to economic and social development.

We are particularly pleased to sign this agreement with aivancity, recognized as one of the leading international players in the field of artificial intelligence. We share a common vision of AI serving development, education, employment, and the transformation of our economy.

Djibril Ouattara, Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization

We are deeply honored by the trust placed in us by the Ivorian government. This agreement reflects a strong conviction that we share: Africa must not only adopt artificial intelligence, but also help to invent, develop, and govern it. Côte d’Ivoire now has an ambitious and inspiring vision that harnesses artificial intelligence to advance human development, economic competitiveness, and social inclusion.

An initial, immediate result with CEDITECH CI

As a direct follow-up to this government agreement, aivancity also signed a strategic partnership at VivaTech with CEDITECH CI, the Center of Excellence for Digital and Technologies, represented by its CEO, Souleymane Sidibé.

CEDITECH CI, part of the Transnumerik Group, is now one of the most influential players in technology education in Côte d’Ivoire. This partnership aims to jointly develop and roll out, from Côte d’Ivoire, executive programs in artificial intelligence and data designed for executives, public policymakers, businesses, and future African leaders.
