Create, collaborate, experiment: Upon returning to the aivancity campus in Nice, first- and second-year bachelor’s students were immediately thrown into the thick of things.
During two days of team-building activities, they took on their first challenge: to conceive and build a business using artificial intelligence.
A Back-to-School Season Marked by Action
This new academic year got off to a great start on the Nice campus.
First- and second-year bachelor's students came together for two days designed to help them get to know one another in a different way: by working together on a real-world project.
The goal? To create the conditions for a genuine momentum in academic advancement from the very beginning, while giving students a first glimpse of the experiential learning approach that will shape their academic journey.
First challenge: building a business with AI
Divided into teams, the students were asked to come up with an entrepreneurial project incorporating AI and to consider how this technology can address a need, enhance a value proposition, or give rise to new business models.
One way to quickly move beyond theory and challenge students with very practical questions: How do you turn an idea into a project? What role should AI play in a business model? How can you collaborate, mediate, and collectively champion a vision?
Throughout the challenge, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork came together on a common ground for experimentation: artificial intelligence applied to entrepreneurship.
Learn AI by Putting It into Practice
These two days set the tone for the year ahead.
At aivancity, learning about artificial intelligence isn't limited to acquiring technical knowledge. It also involves the ability to understand its uses, envision its applications, and transform technology into concrete solutions.
The Bachelor of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence, offered at the Nice campus, helps students gradually develop technical skills while also deepening their understanding of the business aspects and applications of AI.
As soon as the semester began, the students started experimenting with this blending of skills, which is one of the hallmarks of the aivancity teaching approach.
A new year begins in Nice
Beyond the challenge itself, these two days were above all an opportunity to forge the first bonds within a new class: getting to know one another, exchanging ideas, working with people from different backgrounds, and beginning to build a sense of team spirit.
This inaugural event kicks off a new academic year on the Nice campus with one goal in mind: to learn to understand AI, but above all, to imagine what we can build with it.
