Anew milestone in aivancity’s commitment to local communities. By a decision dated August 24, 2026, aivancity received ministerial approval to provide training to local elected officials related to the performance of their duties.
Granted for a period of two years from the date of notification, this accreditation follows the opinion issued by the National Council for the Training of Local Elected Officials (CNFEL) on July 2, 2026. The procedure stipulates that organizations wishing to provide training related to the exercise of a local office must first obtain accreditation from the minister responsible for local governments, following an opinion from the CNFEL.

Obtaining this accreditation allows aivancity to make its expertise in artificial intelligence, data, and digital transformation available to local elected officials, within the regulatory framework governing their training.
The national directory of training programs related to serving as a local elected official includes, among other things, digital issues.
Strengthening the Link Between Artificial Intelligence and Regions
This recognition builds on the initiatives aivancity has already undertaken with local stakeholders.
In 2026, the school worked with the City of Alfortville on an initiative to raise awareness about artificial intelligence through several training sessions for city employees. This initiative enabled 85 employees from various departments and job roles to better understand the uses, impacts, and transformations associated with AI.
With this new accreditation, aivancity is now extending this support to local elected officials, at a time when understanding artificial intelligence technologies and their implications is becoming an increasingly important issue for local public policy.
This new phase builds on aivancity’s mission: to promote the responsible, practical, and operational adoption of artificial intelligence and data to benefit both organizations and regions.
