This technological evolution marks a strategic advance in the field of <strong>adaptive robotics<\/strong>, with a watchword: <em>local responsiveness, without network latency<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"text-justify\">This launch is part of a wider trend towards miniaturization and optimization of foundation models, capable of being run <strong>locally<\/strong> on resource-constrained hardware platforms, while maintaining a high level of cognitive performance.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b2c02b53a097b8850a1d5e1c705dca1b\" style=\"color:#986e13\">What uses for AI embedded in robots?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"text-justify\">Gemini Robotics On-Device has been designed to <strong>equip general-purpose robots<\/strong>, enabling them to understand, adapt and interact finely with their physical environment.
