Some languages lead Claude to adopt a more empathetic style, while others favor precision, critical analysis and logical reasoning.<sup><a href=\"#ref1\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\" style=\"color:#986e13\">French stands out for its balance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the languages studied, <strong>French appears to be one of the most balanced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Anthropic observes that Claude generally adopts a relatively neutral tone when it answers in French. Explanations remain structured, the vocabulary is precise and the model seeks to maintain a high level of clarity while naturally adapting to the style of the person it is talking to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike other languages that accentuate certain personality traits more strongly, French produces more consistent answers across all four axes analyzed. Depending on the nature of the task, switching languages could yield answers with different qualities, whether in terms of creativity, argumentative rigor or depth of analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\" style=\"color:#986e13\">The models themselves also influence the answers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Language, however, is not the only factor that changes Claude\u2019s behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Anthropic also shows that <strong>the different models in its family exhibit distinct behaviors<\/strong>.
